Makuo Okeke \nOpening Prayer\nThe opening prayer was said by our sister Tochukwu Udekwe. \nOpening Remarks by the President\nThe president welcomed all of us\, and appreciated those in attendance. He prayed to rekindle in us the aim and fire that led us to the formation of this group and urged us not to loose focus because God is taking us somewhere. The foundation/formation may be difficult and delayed but it is strong.\nSo I want us not to loose focus but be committed to the aim and goal of Ihemgram’96.\nMay God help us all. \nMembership evaluation/drive\nOn membership\, the president encouraged those not registered to do so\, and those owing dues to pay. \nSome members also advised the excos especially the president and secretary to intensify the campaign on membership. \nGiving back to Ihemgram\nMakuo gave update on what the school needs.\n1. More teachers\n2. A better library\n3. Lawn tennis net\n4. Table tennis\n5. Text books\n6. Grass cutting machine\n7.Changing black board to white board with markers. \nWedding and other invitations\nTemple Igwegbe announced he would be having his wedding by 30th December\, though still considering it alongside the security challenges in the country. \nAnnual reunion/get together\nThe annual reunion/AGM is sacrosanct but we are trying to plan it alongside Temple Igwegbe’s wedding so we can plan better and attend the two within the same period. The house will be updated as we go. \nHosting of our reunion:\nTemple Igwegbe opined that a member can chose to host the event in his or her house or at a neutral ground.\nTemple suggest that the secretary or the President should consult individuals that they know are capable privately and throw it open to them to know their take. Two or more persons can decide to team up and make this year’s event a memorable one. I think this arrangement will lessen the burden of contributing towards it by members bearing in mind that times are hard now and we must not shy away from the truth. \nMakuo Okeke promised to provide the fufu for the reunion. \nEmpowerment\nThis was also kept pending as events unfold. \nMotion for Adjournment\nEmmanuel Muojekwu moved the motion for adjournment and was seconded by Ndidi Onuoha. \nClosing Prayer\nTemple Igwegbe said the closing prayer as he thanked God for how far he had helped us the day’s deliberations and prayed for Him to continue to bond us all together with the cord of love that can never be broken. Help us to do all we desire to do as a people always\, he prayed. \nThe meeting came to a happy end at 12:20am.
